On January 31, 2004, for his homily, Fr. Pascal wrote a letter and addressed it to the parishioners as " A Letter from St. Paul to Costa Mesa." I thought that was the cleverest and funniest thing I ever heard of. The letter spoke about how "you can do everything but without love you are nothing." Somehow, this got me thinking.

I am going to miss his animated homilies, mostly the jokes.

Thanks for all that you have done for SJB.

Querido Padre Pascal,

Our family will really miss Fr. Pascal because he has celebrated many blessings with our family. For example, he has baptized and gave First Communion to a lot of kids in my family. He has also confirmed and married a couple people in my family.

He has been with us through the good times and the bad, always encouraging and supporting us. In a way, he has become a family member to us. We thank him for all he has done and will continue to pray for his health and success.
